Veterans Day-Words are not enough

Well, my site is about Christianity and recovery but once in awhile I get moved to post something else. Today is one of those days: Veterans Day. I know a lot will be written about the sacrifes of brave men and women, but I sort of agree with Abe Lincoln that: "The brave men, living and dead who struggled here have consecrated it far above our poor power to add or detract"

Words just dont get the job done. So I am just posting the photos of the brave men who have died for you. I dont think they did it so you can spend your life shooting drugs, spending endless night in bars drinking, or wasting your substance in illicit sex. They didnt do it for abortion or gay marriage either.La Shawn Barber has a good post on Veterans day as well as links to other bloggers on the subject:

And Lastly, and most importantly, lets not forget that the war is not with flesh and blood. And that evil has been defeated through our belief and his sacrifice.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" Ephesians 6:12
