Hang your head in Shame

Ok, this post may be a little different. My blog is dedicated to recovery and recovery related issues and this may seem a little off topic, but I dont think it is. Let me explain. Recovery from addiction to alcohol and drugs requires that you face up to the truth and repent-- be repented that is. In other words, you have to see through all the sick lies that our culture has foisted on us and see your part of it. We are ashamed by the Light of a Power that is Greater than us.

So if you are really going to recover you are going to have to face up to the truth. And that can be an exceedingly painful process. Thats why we use drugs/alcohol to run from the Spirit of Truth.

So, if you want to believe you have a disease, that you havent been a bad person, then you are definetely in the wrong place.

There is a very good chance if you are a woman who used drugs or alcohol, you also had an abortion. After all, there have been 20 million or so in this country.
